The Sofia Philharmonic Triumphantly Returns to the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna

On March 17, 2025, the Sofia Philharmonic will take the stage at one of the world’s most prestigious concert halls – the legendary Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna. This triumphant concert is yet another brilliant recognition of Bulgaria’s national orchestra and its extraordinary musical mastery.

Under the baton of Maestro Nayden Todorov, the Philharmonic will present a program that promises to captivate the audience with passion, virtuosity, and deep emotion.

The Program Includes:

🎼 Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra by Nino Rota – featuring the brilliant Sergio Manteiga
🎼 Violin Concerto No. 2 by Sergei Prokofiev – performed by the exceptional Fabiola Kim
🎼 Italian Symphony by Felix Mendelssohn – one of the most radiant works of Romanticism

A day earlier, on March 16, the same program will be performed at the Konzerthaus in Klagenfurt, offering another opportunity for audiences to enjoy this magnificent concert.

Fabiola Kim – Described by The New York Times as a “brilliant soloist,” she is one of the brightest stars on the contemporary classical music scene. Her violin tells stories – emotional, rich, unforgettable. She has performed with prestigious orchestras worldwide, including the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.

Sergio Manteiga – One of the most talented young trombonists of our time, already conquering world stages. Currently a member of the Basque National Orchestra, his performance of Nino Rota’s concerto promises to be a true feast for the senses.
